Mission
Support, empower and enrich students' lives in the areas of academic, personal and career development. In doing so, students will build a foundation for a successful future as critical thinkers and life-long learners.
Everyone experiences changes and challenges in their lives. Having support and others who care can help turn our difficulties into moments that build our character. I am here to assist each child on their life journey, to guide them through mistakes and to help them build a bright future. The following are some ways I work with students during the school year.
- Classroom guidance - all students participate during the school year. This is when I teach whole group lessons in their classrooms. Fourth and fifth graders will also have class meeting once a week
- Individual counseling - meeting with students one on one - is ongoing with students as needed throughout the year
- Group counseling - two or more students with similar needs meet with me - is also ongoing with students as needed throughout the school year.
When big or small problems arise, we can work together.
